1. Insight: we meet, visit the site and learn how you live and what you want to achieve. You decide your priorities and budget.

2. Feasibility: we check planning rules, site constraints and likely cost. You decide whether and how to proceed.

3. Concept design: we develop design options for you to compare. You decide the direction.

4. Design development: we refine the layout and materials and coordinate engineers and other consultants. You give final sign off on the design.

5. Approvals: we prepare and lodge the planning application and deal with council on your behalf.

​

6. Construction drawings: we produce detailed drawings and specifications that builders can price and build from.

​

7. Tender: we help you get comparable quotes and choose the right builder.

​

8. Construction: we visit site, answer builder questions and manage the contract.

​

9. Handover: you receive as built drawings and photography of the finished project.

​

About changes: changing your mind is part of design. Changes made early cost little. Changes after a stage is signed off take more work, and we'll always tell you before any extra fee applies.
